ESCAPE ROOMS 5 MINUTES FROM BRIGHTON STATION
Perfect for day trips, hen and stag dos, and groups arriving by rail.
STRAIGHT OFF THE TRAIN
Coming to Brighton by train? You don't need to cross the city to play. The Lift is just a 5-minute walk from Brighton Station, so you can arrive, play, and still have the rest of the day for the Lanes and the seafront.
Every one of our escape rooms is designed and hand-built by us, set in unusual spaces including a reclaimed shipping container and a characterful basement. Every game is fully private, so it's just you and your team, with a dedicated host from the moment you arrive.
HOW TO FIND US FROM THE STATION
Don't leave through the main front entrance onto Queens Road. Head to the back of the station and leave by the rear exit. It's the quickest way to us.
-
Leave by the rear exit
From your platform, head away from the main concourse towards the back of the station and leave by the rear exit.
-
Head down the stairs
Once out of the back of the station, head straight and immediately turn right to go down the stairs.
-
Turn onto New England Road
Continue forward and turn left at the F45 gym. Then just walk straight.
-
You've arrived
Keep walking straight until you reach the containers our rooms are housed in. Look for The Lift at the Cobblers Thumb site, 10 New England Road. Look for The Lift Escape Rooms logo out the front of the Cobblers Thumb container site. Your host will be waiting for you!

WHAT OUR PLAYERS SAY
It was our first time and it was amazing from start to finish. We had fantastic hosts with a brilliant amount of enthusiasm, they were so helpful. The puzzles were challenging but definitely doable.
We went along to the superhero/comic themed one for a family birthday and it was great! Aesthetically awesome and so many details! The host was incredibly engaging and helpful and fun.
Had a great time at 'the lift' escape room, was super enjoyable and very well thought out! Our host did an amazing job and made the experience seamless. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely. Direct trains from London Victoria and London Bridge take around an hour, and we're 5 minutes from the station, so you can play a game and still have most of the day for the city and seafront.
