DEFINITIONS

'Company' 'our' 'we' 'us' shall refer to The Lift Escape Rooms
'Client' or 'Booker' shall refer to the named person on the booking.
'Player' shall refer to any member of the booked group.

1. BOOKINGS

* The Booker is responsible for reading and accepting these terms and conditions for themselves and on behalf of the the other players.
* The Booker must be 18 years of age or over and must be authorised to make the booking.
* Full payment is required at teh time of the booking.
* The Booker must pay the total booking price based on the company's prices as stated on the company's website.
* It is the responsibility of the Booker to pass on any booking details laid out in confirmation or reminder emails to the other players
* Proof of the booking may be requested on arrival. It is the Bookers responsibility to make sure they have received the confirmation email.
* The Booker can add extra players to their booking by contacting us directly. This will be charged as per the prices on the company's website and must be paid in full before the game starts.
* The Booker may remove players form their booking up to 48 hours before the booking. A refund for the removed players will be processed, however, no refund will be given if the reduction happens within 48 hours of the booking.

2. PAYMENTS & CHARGES

* Payments and charges are shown and made in pound sterling (GBP).
* Payments include transactions fees, admin fees and payment gateway fees all of which are non-refundable under any circumstance.
* The Lift reserves the right to change or update prices and booking fees at any time without prior warning.
* It is the sole responsibility of the Client to make sure all payment details are correct at the time of booking.
* Payments are processed through a third party booking and payment system

3. PERSONAL INFORMATION

* At the time of booking the Client consents to any information collected by the Company in order to fulfill the booking.
* At no point does the Company have the intention of sharing any data with any third party unless said data is required by law by any authority that can rule in any such case.
* Due to the nature of the experience at the Company CCTV monitoring will occur. The Client and Players consent to such monitoring at the time of booking.
* The Company reserve the right to use any photographs taken of the Client or Players as part of their experience at the Company.

4. AGE RESTRICTIONS

* No one under the age of 14 is permitted to take part.
* Under 16s must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.
* The Company reserve the right to refuse entry to any one who is below the permitted age. No refunds will be allowed under this circumstance.

5. COPYRIGHT

* Images, text, layout, design and logos that make up any part of the Company's website or social media accounts is protected by the Copyright Act 1988.
* Design, logos, text and images used in the Company's experience is protected by the Copyright Act 1988.
* No photos or videos are permitted to be taken and shared of the Company except in very special circumstances where the Company has granted this.
* The Company reserves the right to terminate the experience at any time if any Player is in breach of these terms.

6. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

* The Company makes every effort to ensure personal belongings stored during the experience are safe from damage and/or theft. However, The Company will not be responsible for any damage or theft whatever the cause.

7. CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING

* The Client reserves the right to cancel their booking at any time.
* Cancelled bookings are non-refundable at all whatever the cause.
* Cancelled bookings made 48 hours or more before the booking may be offered a reschedule at the Company's discretion.
* It cannot be guaranteed any cancellations within 48 hours of the booking will be eligible for rescheduling. Any rescheduling at this point will be at the discretion of the Company.
* Any cancellations on the day of the booking will not be eligible for a refund or a reschedule whatever the cause.

8. LATE ARRIVALS

* Clients arriving later than 5 minutes past the booking time will have their booking cancelled and will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
* Clients and Players are recommended to arrive 5 minutes before their booking time to allow for game and safety briefings.
* Due to the nature of the experience it cannot be shortened or amended to suit late arrivals.

9. TERMINATION

* The Company reserves the right to terminate the experience and or the Client or Players entry to The Lift Escape Rooms immediately at any time without prior notice and or liability for any reason we deem reasonable.
* Termination or suspension will result in no refunds or rescheduling at all for any reason.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

* The Company requires on going maintenance and updates and cannot guarantee the performance of any mechanical and electronic parts to the experience.
* In the event that the Company experience has to be cut short or terminated due to but not limited to mechanical failure, electronic failure or communication failure refunds or rescheduling will be offered at the Company's discretion. Limited to the monies paid.
* In the event that a booking is affected by but not limited to mechanical failure, electronic failure, communication failure, extreme weather, illness or delays that are completely out of our control refunds or rescheduling will be offered at the Company's discretion. Limited to the monies paid.

12. LOSS & DAMAGE TO YOU

* The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage that is beyond our control or is caused by the negligence of us, you or any member of your party.
* The Company is responsible for loss or damage caused by us that is within our control. This includes but is not limited to pre discussed objects of danger and clear signs of risk to health.
* The Company is not responsible for accidental harm to you or any member of your party.
* By making a booking with the Company you agree to the above terms.

The Lift reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior warning.
