DEFINITIONS
'Company' 'our' 'we' 'us' shall refer to The Lift
'Client' shall refer to the named person on the booking.
'Player' shall refer to any member of the booked group.
1. BOOKINGS
1.1 All bookings are processed immediately and charged at the time of booking.
1.2 All bookings are non-transferable. Any booking for The Lift that has been exchanged for a monetary value will be deemed in breach of these terms.
1.3 All bookings are subject to availability.
1.4 All bookings are non-refundable at any time.
1.5 To make bookings with a Gift Voucher email The Lift directly.
2. PAYMENTS & CHARGES
2.1 Payments and charges are shown and made in pound sterling (GBP).
2.2 Payments include transactions fees, admin fees and payment gateway fees all of which are non-refundable under any circumstance.
2.3 The Lift reserves the right to change or update prices and booking fees at any time without prior warning.
2.4 It is the sole responsibility of the Client to make sure all payment details are correct at the time of booking.
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION
3.1 At the time of booking the Client consents to any information collected by The Lift in order to fulfill the booking.
3.2 At no point does The Lift have the intention of sharing any data with any third party unless said data is required by law by any authority that can rule in any such case.
3.3 Due to the nature of the experience at The Lift CCTV monitoring will occur. The Client and Players consent to such monitoring at the time of booking.
3.4 The Lift reserve the right to use any photographs taken of the Client or Players as part of their experience at The Lift.
4. AGE RESTRICTIONS
4.1 No one under the age of 14 is permitted to take part in The Lift.
4.3 The Lift reserve the right to refuse entry to any one who is below the permitted age. No refunds will be allowed under this circumstance.
5. COPYRIGHT
5.1 Images, text, layout, design and logos that make up any part of The Lifts website or social media accounts is protected by the Copyright Act 1988.
5.2 Design, logos, text and images used in The Lift experience is protected by the Copyright Act 1988.
5.3 No photos or videos are permitted to be taken and shared of The Lift except in very special circumstances where The Lift has granted this.
5.4 The Lift reserve the right to terminate the experience at any time if any Player is in breach of these terms.
6. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
6.1 The Lift makes every effort to ensure personal belongings stored during the experience are safe from damage and/or theft.
However, The Lift will not be responsible for any damage or theft whatever the cause.
7. CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING
7.1 The Client reserves the right to cancel their booking at any time.
7.2 Cancelled bookings are non-refundable at all whatever the cause.
7.3 Cancelled bookings made 48 hours or more before the booking may be offered a reschedule at The Lifts discretion.
7.4 It cannot be guaranteed any cancellations within 48 hours of the booking will be eligible for rescheduling. Any rescheduling at this point will be at the discretion of The Lift.
7.5 Any cancellations on the day of the booking will not be eligible for a refund or a reschedule whatever the cause.
8. LATE ARRIVALS
8.1 Clients arriving later than 5 minutes past the booking time will have their booking cancelled and will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
8.2 Clients and Players are recommended to arrive 5 minutes before their booking time to allow for game and safety briefings.
8.3 Due to the nature of The Lift the experience cannot be shortened or amended to suit late arrivals.
9. TERMINATION
9.1 The Lift reserves the right to terminate the experience and or the Client or Players entry to The Lift immediately at any time without prior notice and or liability for any reason we deem reasonable.
9.2 Termination or suspension will result in no refunds or rescheduling at all for any reason.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
10.1 The Lift requires on going maintenance and updates and cannot guarantee the performance of any mechanical and electronic parts to the experience.
10.2 In the event that The Lift experience has to be cut short or terminated due to but not limited to mechanical failure, electronical failure or communication failure
refunds or rescheduling will be offered atThe Lifts discretion. Limited to the monies paid.
10.3 In the event that a booking is affected by but not limited to mechanical failure, electronical failure, communication failure, extreme weather, illness or delays
that are completely out of our control refunds or rescheduling will be offered at The Lifts discretion. Limited to the monies paid.
12. LOSS & DAMAGE TO YOU
12.1 The Lift Escape Rooms are not responsible for any loss or damage that is beyond our control or is caused by the negligence of us, you or any member of your party.
12.2 The Lift Escape Rooms are responsible for loss or damage caused by us that is within our control. This includes but is not limited to pre discussed objects of danger and clear signs of risk to health.
12.3 The Lift Escape Rooms are not responsible for accidental harm to you or any member of your party.
12.4 By making a booking with The Lift Escape Rooms you agree to the above terms.
The Lift reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior warning.
Such a great experience! We booked at the last minute and the team went to extra effort to make sure they got the room ready at short notice. Loved the game, great puzzles and it all made sense, which is what we want from an escape room. We even made it onto the leader board, in second place :)
We were greeted by cheerful people. They explained what we needed to do. We laughed so much it was so much fun. It was a voucher we had for Christmas from my son who lives in Scotland, he obviously did his homework!! Thanks for making this a great experience, 110% recommend this!!
